Immersive screen or live performers?
Start with Sphere if the wraparound visuals and immersive technology are the reason you are visiting. Start with Cirque if you want to watch performers make the spectacle happen live. Neither is a substitute for every kind of Vegas entertainment.
A Sphere ticket is for a named event
Seeing Wizard of Oz does not include a separate concert or every production at Sphere. Confirm the event name and time before paying. Likewise, a Cirque ticket admits you to the named show rather than a choice of productions.
Consider sound, light and physical effects
Sphere publishes detailed sensory guidance for Wizard of Oz. Review it before choosing, particularly if movement sensations or flashing effects are a concern. Cirque productions also have their own sound, darkness and effects guidance.
Book both for genuinely different nights
For a longer trip, one screen-led experience and one live show can create a more varied programme than two similar evenings. Keep them on separate nights if you want a relaxed dinner and time to enjoy each venue.
